On a dark and cloudy night, so dark you couldn't even see the opposite side of the ship you're on, a vicious battle awaits. Two separate groups of pirates have had trouble with each other for a while now, attacking each other for their golden treasure, and shooting down some of the massive canoe shaped sail boats they have whenever found at sea. Eventually after the two groups had enough of these never ending attacks on eachother, The captains of both the different crews: One Armed Joe and Old Man Carl, decided to meet in a private disclosed shed with just 2 chairs and a table, and discuss options.
One Armed Joe arrives at the shed after an hour-long hike, in there Old Man Carl is sitting on a chair waiting, with nothing but a cane in his hand and a lamp on the table revealing his face covered in scars. One Armed Joe, without saying a word, shuts the door gently then sits down. Old Man Carl then reaches below his legs to grab something, One Armed Joe frantically stands up and grabs the machete by his waistband and yells “What do you think you're doing there, pal?”. Old Man Carl continues to stay silent, and slowly pulls his hand up from below his feet, and now he is holding 2 glasses and some rum. As Old Man Carl pours the rum into the glasses, One Armed Joe sits down. Funny! Two people who have been responsible for over thousands of deaths on eachother, are now sitting down and having a drink together.
After 2 hours of what was supposed to be negotiating, but just ended with yelling, arguments, and threats, One Armed Joe kicks down the door and immediately begins to sprint back to his army, Old Man Carl gets on his ship docked nearby and does the same. One Armed Joe arrives back at his Army's camp right by the shore, where all the massive sailboats are docked right at hand, and thousands of soldiers all wearing full silver gear covering their faces are training. One Armed Joe screams as he arrives “WE ARE GOING TO WAR!” He had to repeat it almost 6 times until the entire army had his attention, but once they did they looked more prepared than ever. Thousands of soldiers are now gearing up and preparing to go to war, so loud to the point where all you can hear is the sound of metal clinking on eachother, and swords being sharpened. Once they were all prepared, they organized themselves into separate even groups where they all boarded almost 20 different massive sailboats all identical to one another. One Armed Joe rises to grab the wooden steering wheel with his one arm, and begins to set sail as all the other boats follow. The night was so dark to the point where One Armed Joe couldnt even see the boats behind him, but could hear their chanting and screams as they were ready to go to war.
After a 1 hour boat joyride, they arrive at the base of the opposing group Old Man Carl is in control of. As they were nearing the base, One Armed Joe walks to the front of the ship to try and examine, as he squints because of how hard it is to see in the night, he suddenly starts to hear the chanting of what he thought to be his army, except it was coming from in front of him. Not long after, he sees the towering figure of all the different sails on the sailboat in front of him, and all of a sudden he sees a massive line of boats all looking right towards his army. One Armed Joe's heart completely drops, the adrenaline hits him, and he panics. He rushes to the back of his ship to yell behind him, “Be prepared! The battle awaits!”. All you could hear after One Armed Joe’s warning is the constant sound of cannons being fired, people screaming, and massive explosions.
For around 45 minutes the sounds of cannons being fired continued non-stop, eventually this dark and gloomy night turned into a massive fire over the water. All you could see is boats half sunken fully covered in flames. The flames were devouring the sailboats and were so spread around everywhere to the point where you can see as far as a football field over the water. Once the very few remaining boats compared to the 50 there were when the war started realized this battle ended in nothing except death, they decided to set all their differences aside and sailed out into the ocean to escape their deaths. As the soldiers looked behind them at the flames in the distance becoming dimmer and dimmer, as the boats slowly fell into the ocean, they thought to themselves, what were we even fighting for? They realized both of their separate leaders were most likely dead, and they brought them in this battle to begin with.
